González presented the challenges of a new technology in order to succeed when engaging with readers as the devices and the type of use are very distant of actual reading books, saying this in the context of the big hype of voice tech during the year 2019, which is precisely why this issue is included in the program of Readmagine.
Pablo Fernández is a journalist and technologist that runs Innovation at PRISA Radio, the largest Spanish speaking radio broadcaster. His main areas of work and research include audio production automatization, content discovery, distribution and monetization. He played a leading role in the conceptualization and development of projects such as Podium Podcast (global Spanish podcast network), Hertz project (audio search and social discovery) and Tailorcast project (customized linear audio experiences).

Luis González is the Managing Director of the GSR Foundation where launched several innovation projects such as Lecturalab, Canal Lector, Lectylab, LCFL, Territorio Ebook, Renodo or Readmagine. Since 1992 he belongs to the Administrators Corp and has held several senior positions at the National Spanish Administration Service. In 2000 designed and implemented the National Reading Plan from the Ministry of Culture. He is a lecturer, professor, director of Masters and co-authored several books, such as “Reading in transformation?”, “Electronic books and digital contents within the knowledge society”, “Pinterest for librarians” and “Startup of the book“. He is part of the Executive Commitee and the Steering Committee of the Spanish Association of Foundations.
