SANDBOX OF INNOVATION IN READMAGINE 22

In the afternoons during the 2022′ Readmagine conference there took place a series of presentations of different entrepreneurial projects in the publishing industry.  These sessions were called «Sandbox of innovation» and promoted the exchange of ideas among professionals after the morning sessions, more focused on strategic debates and insights about future trends.

The workshops were organised around the following projects: Unebok, Ineo/Edicom, Odilo, Immer Systems and Books On Demand.

Unebook is a online bookstore promoted by the UNE (Union of Spanish University Publishers) and managed by Prodiko (Proyectos de Difusión de Contenido, S.L.).  Unebook sells print books and digital books from Spanish and Latin American university presses.

Izneo, Europe’s leading digital comic platform to discover, acquire and read the most extensive catalog in all genres of comics, bande dessinée, mangas and webtoons across all screens in five languages, which partners with other organisations in Eudicom (with the co funding of Creative Europe) in a project focused on marketing in digital communities.

Odilo is a Spanish company which provides fully customized unlimited learning ecosystems to help organizations reach their full potential and also is a ebook distribution company with platforms for the e-lending of public libraries.

Immer Systems is focused on the digital reading experience, by creating a free app helping to read more often, easily and enjoyably on phones or tablets.

Books on Demand is the European market and technology leader in digital publishing. It offers its more than 3,500 publishers a complete solution for the production from one copy and the worldwide distribution of books and e-books. Books on Demand is present in eight European countries and offers services to distribute the publishers’ titles worldwide.
