Fabrice Piault, editor-in-chief of Livres Hebdo, participated in the PubMagNet meeting – the network of professional magazines in the publishing industry – on February 6 and 7, 2020 at Casa del Lector (the centre of the Fundación Germán Sánchez Ruipérez in Madrid), organized by Publish News.
Piault describes the trajectory of the reference magazine in the French-language world and points out the latest innovations implemented by the magazine with the aim to adapt to the changes in the market, as well as the new needs and attitudes of professional audiences. One of the main transformations done is the conversion of the traditional weekly magazine into a digital format and the configuration of a monthly print magazine that is released from the exhaustive monitoring of the latest news to carry out deeper analyzes and anticipation studies in the world of the publishing (and of the libraries too).
Fabrice Piault is the Editor-in-chief at Livres Hebdo, Executive Director at Electre and President of ACBD, Association des critiques et journalistes de bande dessinée.
