Within the context of Readmagine -the conference devoted to the innovation of publishing and readership, organized by Fundación Germán Sánchez Ruipérez every year during the first week of June- a workshop took place on the design of quality experiences for the readers. Luis Villa thinks that the competitors or publishing sector are coming from outside this industry; the new companies are not focusing or thinking about what the practices are or the benchmarks in the industry, but on what is broken, what doesn’t work really well for customers, and from this inception they build the first user design start up (starting from the scratch).
Luis Villa has have grown among systems and engineering teams and set up design strategy teams to transform technology into experiences. Luis has worked inside organizations with different cultures as consultancy companies, agencies, start-ups and end clients. Today he is a Strategist and Experience Architect. He is also a speaker in academic and political fora about the impact of technology and society.
He has lived through the ups and downs of different digital waves across all industries with a strong focus in Banking and Insurance where he delivered strategic projects for several leading banks in Europe.
